We're so excited that you are interested in choosing us to document your wedding
[Photo of you — not posed, not stiff. On a shoot, laughing with a couple, in your element.] I believe in real moments and chasing the light. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy in the simplest moments together. In photos that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames, and hung on walls for years to come.
I started shooting on film, and those early limitations taught me something I've carried into every wedding since: slow down, observe, and wait for the real thing. Whenever I pick up my camera, I'm looking for the image that tells the truth about who you are and what this day meant to you.
I've photographed [X]+ weddings over the past [X] years, and I still get emotional at the altar. That's probably not going to change.
what it looks like to work together
Your gallery will be delivered within [X] weeks of your wedding day. You'll get a private online gallery with high-resolution images, print release, and easy ordering for prints, albums, and keepsakes.
The relationship doesn't end when the gallery lands in your inbox. I want to hear about married life. And when you're ready to document your growing family, I'd love to be there for that too.
It's finally here. The day you say I Do and dance the night away surrounded by the people who matter most.
I'll be there from the moment you start getting ready until the last song plays. You won't need to worry about directing me, pointing out the important moments, or making sure things get captured. Just be present. I've got the rest.
About two months before your wedding, I'll check in to start talking through timeline specifics, special details, family formal lists, and anything else I should know about your day.
Don't wait until then if you have questions. Reach out any time during the planning process. I'd rather answer something ten times than have you stress about it once.
Every collection includes a complimentary engagement session, and I mean it when I say they matter.
Most couples are a little stiff in front of a camera at first. That's completely normal and it has nothing to do with you. The engagement session is where we figure out how to work together, how to move naturally, and how to find the light. By the time your wedding day comes, you'll know exactly what to do when I point the camera at you — and that shows up in every single frame.
Sessions work great anywhere from 18 months before the wedding to just a few days before. Favorite season: fall and spring. Favorite location in [your area]: [Location]. Couples usually wear something from J.Crew, Banana Republic, or Urban Outfitters and look great.
Booking a photographer isn't the end of the planning support — it's the beginning of it. I've been in this industry for [X] years and I'm genuinely happy to share everything I've learned.
Whether you need engagement session outfit recommendations, timeline advice, or honest vendor referrals, I'm here for it. Even if you have a planner, there are a hundred small details I've picked up from being on the other side of the camera at [X]+ weddings. Ask me anything.
After photographing more than [X] weddings, I've learned that the best ones happen when the fit is right on both sides. That's why this starts with a conversation.
I want to hear everything. How you met, the story behind the proposal, what you're most looking forward to on your wedding day. We'll get to know each other, talk through the details, and figure out whether we're the right match.
No pressure. Just a conversation.
A [X]% sales tax will be added to all collections and options. Travel fees may apply to locations outside of [X] miles. Ask for details.

We're big believers that images aren't meant to live only in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone. Your phone will be replaced. Even the online gallery we deliver will eventually fade away.
Think about this: twenty-five years ago, if we had delivered your images on a floppy disk, you would have no way to access them today. The formats change. The physical thing stays.
One of the best ways to make your memories last is an album. These aren't the same albums your parents' wedding photos came in. They're modern, lay perfectly flat, and look genuinely beautiful on a coffee table. Made with archival materials and your choice of linen or leather cover.
“[Your strongest wedding testimonial. Look for one that speaks to the experience of working with you, not just the end result. Something like: 'We forgot she was even there — and then the gallery arrived and we cried for an hour.']”

The best engagement session locations are often meaningful to you specifically, and I'm always happy to work with that. But if you want recommendations, I've shot everywhere from ski slopes to lavender fields to college campuses to apple orchards, and I have opinions about all of them.
Here are a few of my favorites in [your area].
I keep a Pinterest board with outfit ideas organized by season and vibe. If you're not sure where to start, spend 20 minutes there before you go shopping.
Think about how you actually dress when you feel like yourselves. Date night clothes, not costumes. The goal is to look like you on a really good day, not like a version of you that exists only in photos.
A few things that photograph well together:
Coordinate, don't match. If one of you is in navy, the other doesn't need to be in navy. They might reach for cream, or a soft blush, or a warm neutral. The outfits should feel related without being identical.
Solid colors and simple patterns tend to hold up better than busy prints. Busy graphics date quickly and pull the eye away from your faces.
Layers work. An open jacket, a linen shirt, a long cardigan. They add dimension and give you something to do with your hands.
Natural fabrics photograph best. Linen, cotton, soft knits. Anything with structure tends to look more polished on camera than anything flowy and synthetic.
Getting dressed for your engagement session shouldn't be stressful. Here's everything that actually matters.
I maintain relationships with other photographers in [your area] whose work I trust and whose style is consistent with mine. In the event of a true emergency, I would contact them immediately and brief them on your day. This has never happened, but I want you to know the plan exists.
Yes, all collections include a second photographer. Having two perspectives on a wedding day, especially during parallel moments like getting ready, means nothing gets missed.
Most wedding galleries include anywhere from [400 to 800] images, though the exact number varies depending on the length and flow of your day. Every image delivered is fully edited and high resolution. You're welcome to share your photos on social media as long as you credit and link back to my website.
I typically add travel fees to any wedding outside of [X] miles from [your city]. Fees vary depending on location, so reach out for specifics. Destination weddings are always welcome — just ask.
Yes, your files come with a full print release. That said, the labs I use are professionally calibrated to my editing style, which means the color and tonal quality of your prints will match what you see in your gallery. Consumer labs can be inconsistent, especially with skin tones. If you want to order elsewhere, I'm happy to give you some guidance on what to look for.
Within [X] weeks of your wedding day. You'll receive a link to a private online gallery with high-resolution images you can download, share, and use to order prints directly. The gallery is also set up so ordering prints, canvases, and albums is as straightforward as possible — no worrying about color correction, DPI, or file formats on your end.
Send me a note through the inquiry form with your wedding date, venue, and a little about yourselves. If I'm available and it sounds like a good fit, I'll reach out to set up a call. To officially reserve your date, I'll need a completed contract and a [33]% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due one week before the wedding.
Thank you for taking the time to read through all of this. It means you're taking this decision seriously, and I love that about you.
If something here felt right, the next step is easy. Send me a note with your wedding date, venue, and a little about your day. I'll get back to you within [X] business days.
I can't wait to hear your story.
